I have an interest in local history and in 1995 completed the Diploma in Local History at the University of Wales (Swansea). I am the author of 'Swansea and the Workhouse - the Poor Law in 19th Century Swansea' (West Glamorgan Archive Service 2003) and 'Swansea Pals - the History of the 14th (Service) Battalion, the Welsh Regiment in the Great War' (Pen & Sword Books 2004).
I have been working on 'Foul Deeds and Suspicious Deaths in and Around Swansea' and this was published by Pen and Sword in September 2009.
I have worked for Swansea Council in various roles over the last 40 years and recently retired as Principal Administrative Officer in the Environment Department.
I am currently researching the role of the 38th (Welsh) Division at the Battle of Passchendaele (July 1917 onwards).
Please use the website contact option to get in touch with me - I'd be delighted to hear from you! |
